My goal is to visit all of the masjids in Singapore. To determine what counts as a masjid, I'm using the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS)'s list. MUIS is the branch of the government which handles Muslim affairs, and so they maintain and support all of the masjids on the island. According to their masjid directory, there are 70 masjids in SG.

Masjid Darussalam is located in Clementi, and so it provided a convenient salah stop for me as I headed to the Clementi Mall on the 29th. I also ended up praying Eid Salah here on Sunday August 11th, as it was one of the only masjids in West SG that gave the khutbah in English.
The masjid's profile is a square-ish one, and not very tall either. I don't have many pictures of this masjid, since it was the first that I visited and I was still getting the hang of "masjid photography." But here's a commemorative plaque from the Masjid's opening.
A motivational Hadith is displayed on a large sign outside, facing the busy Commonwealth Avenue.
Lastly, a quick look at the interior shows that this masjid has two stories, with the upper balcony reserved for the women, and the lower level for the men. What caught my eye here is that the mimbar is also on two stories! The Imam walks up a fully flegdged flight of stairs (not a namesake two or three) to give the Khutbah. I got to witness this myself on Eid day.
